Rock Auto ACC carpets

Ordered mass backed carpet from Rock auto and they sent the wrong one. Paperwork correct and carpet incorrect. Their fault and I have to pay shipping to return. I know some of you guys love them, but this is my first and last order with them. No customer service. Their site even states you can't talk to a live person. My education for trying to save a buck. ACC said they've received numerous complaints about Rock auto and giggled. Shouldn't be one of their vendors. Pissed.

I'm not defending Rock Auto and only had the one experience with a mistake. There were Ford Parts in a box with the Chevy Part Numbers on the outside of the box. I followed their procedures for a return and they even sent me a shipping label to pay for the return shipping and gave me credit for the part and the shipping cost or would have put it back on my card if I wanted. I suggest Stock Interiors for your carpet.

I like and use Summit. Never an issue on a return if needed. They sent me a "will call" sticker so no return cost. And you can talk to a human at Summit.
Also Summit has a depending on the parts ordered any thing over $125? free shipping.

I have had one or two issues, emailed them and got it taken care of pretty quick

Sorry to hear about your experience.
I recently ordered/received my carpets from RA, with no issues.
I did have an issue with another Parts House though, when they sent me the wrong window seal, and I had to pay a bunch of extra fees to get the correct one.
This was a huge difference from how this company operated the last time I ordered parts from them.
As someone said, call their Customer Service Direct, and see if there is anything they can do.

I too ordered two different carpets through rockauto with no issues. I'm a little surprised that ACC didn't "make it right" if they know RA has had troubles.

I really like the fact that I got a discount on RA for both carpets, but if summit really offers free shipping, then that would make up for it. Just need to make sure carpet qualifies for free shipping.

Funny I've had a lot better customer service with Rock Auto than I have with ACC.

I ordered my mass backed ACC carpet and several other products from them also.

I would press Rock Auto further to make it right.
They need to correct their employees mistake.
It happens but they should send you a RMA label for a return and ship the correct ACC carpet you originally ordered.

Tell them this very established website has done a lot of business with them.
Our large membership and followers will be monitoring their response.
It would just be good business ethics on their part.
Good luck.

Thanks, Sam. They sent a rma and I have shipped it back. I'm now asking for the return freight to be covered. Per their request I sent pictures of the carpet inside the cab as well as pictures of the old carpet inside the cab showing it stops at the gas tank. Then they wanted pictures of the cab floor. They ain't getting them. The carpet they sent looks like it may be for a remote tank. I'm now thinking it might be AAC's fault as there wasn't a part number on the carton. Who knows. I'm done
