Needing to get some and wanting some ideas.
I would buy the fold up but not in my budget.

They work great, as long as you are not climbing rocks. I have found nerf bars to be better for all around wheeling.

The wife’s SUV has folding running boards, and I thought they were the dumbest thing I’d seen, BUT...after going through Montana in Winter and seeing steps get mangled in deep snow, there’s something to be said for a system that either folds out of the way or has give to it, like a stirrup

Those wheels and tires look perfect for these trucks. Great lookin truck and those steps do the job.

I like the rims too. Gives them the old school look. What I had on my 69 c10 in high school.
The steps worked good. Had to fab up some better mounting hardware to make them more ridged. And added 45 braces up to floor for better down force bending. Some paint and I’ll be hitting the road soon.
