1969 Chevy braking systems

Hello. I need a diagram of brake shoe and spring assembly for a '69 Chevy heavy half ton, 6 hole lug. I also need info on where to go to buy a proportional valve for the same truck at a reasonable price. I've looked in all the local junkyards, etc, but there are none to be had.

Thank you for any help you can offer,
Dave

I'd try napa. They have disassembly manuals and should have a prop valve

Thanks. I was looking for info I could find online, though. I'm working on the truck right now as I need it for work, and I'd need to order a manual. Also, I'm looking for a proportional valve that I could get for cheaper than $150, which is the going price so far--thanks for the NAPA link, as I haven't priced through them yet.

Well, Jeff, it might if I could see the pic --my damn computer won't let me--it does that sometimes, and I don't know why! Thank you, though!

$150??? Post a wanted to buy thread on the parts board, hardly anyone is keeping the combination valve (They were combination valves untill 71 when they went to disc brakes and needed an actual proportioning valve) since they are swapping to discs.
If you pay more than 10 bucks to your door, you are paying too much.
Also, a side note, the heavy half designation was not used untill the mid to late 70's. The 6 lug wheels is just how it was done up untill 71 when the disc brakes came into play along with the 5 lug rims.
Also, welcome to the board.
