Parking Brake Switch Kit?

Hi Folks - anyone know of a kit for adding a parking brake switch for a '72 C20? I'm installing Dakota Digital gauges and would like to feed the signal into the cluster.

Cheers,
Darwin

Re: Parking Brake Switch Kit?

Suggest looking a at later model trucks for a switch and make a mount point. Or any normally open switch and make a mount. It is most likely just a switch to ground.

I don't know of a kit, but there is a thread on here somewhere that shows how to make your own. I presume you want the brake light in the dash to come on when the e-brake is applied?

Re: Parking Brake Switch Kit?

So I'm thinking it wouldn't be hard to adapt a standard brake light switch with a custom bracket to the "arm" of the e-brake bracket. They only need two wires.
