17" wheel compatibility for 83 C20
I am thinking to change my stock 16" wheels to 17" wheels. I will be buying used wheels and tires. Which 8 lug wheels will fit my 83 C20? I currently have Dodge 8 lug 16" wheels on the truck and that bolt pattern is compatible with my truck. Which makes of 17" wheels will fit my truck without modification?
Also, will wheel well clearance be a problem with 17" wheels? Thanks. |

Re: 17" wheel compatibility for 83 C20
Dodge has some nice forged 17's that with a cap change fit the C/K series nicely.
Also early 2000's H2 wheels fit especially if your stock height or lifted. |

Re: 17" wheel compatibility for 83 C20
There's at least one optional 17" wheel on the 2007.5-2010 GMT900s that should work for you. They came on my 2008 Silverado 2500HD. The GMCs I think have a separate one too. Any GM truck rim from 2011 and up won't work since they changed the bolt pattern size.
