Re: repairs have begun
Biggest issue sio far is how to match floor ro OEN with waht I am calling drain channels kin floor. About 3/4" wide. One in replacement and three in oem. I am thinking about machining two [pieces on mill that can clamp and tap away till foor matches.
I am open to better ideas?

Looks like you are making some progress on it. The matchup can be a problem sometimes. I am going through the same thing right now on a '69. I'm not too picky so I just eyeball that kind of stuff and weld it....

These clamps are helpful in certain areas.

Re: repairs have begun
so far no match up issues. I have thos clamps but useless on sides since enclosed and noway to retrieve the squre back block piece and do not feel like hearing rattle inside. Guess could leave bottom open till seems done. Little borother and I bent up the side patch pieces mainly him and have to admit little shiut did good job getting them almost perfect.I did cheat and add back lip to ease welding and makle sure could get full heavy weld so when ground down no problem thin welds. I do havce to recut back out for new wheel well piece I had to order, Hope has same small recess crease around it as Oem LMC junk does not.

Re: repairs have begun
Only allingment issue so far is bottom of door to rocker and side. Side and rocker very close but door bottom edge about 3/16 out. Working to get in pulled back in. This bottom door piece is issue, hate to cut to allow it to be pulled but may have to,
Open to other suggestions?
