69/70 Hood

Hi all, I recently purchased a 70 hood for my build and noticed these small holes along the the inside lip. Anyone of you know what they would be for?

Thanks

Re: 69/70 Hood

From where the holes are located and the spacing I would guess they were for sheet metal screws to attach a "bug deflector" very common on trucks years back. Usually would be clear, smoke colored or other colors were also available.

As stated above, definitely a bug deflector. Seen several hoods with similar holes.
