1960 wheels with hubcaps, future disk brakes advise
Couple of what I hope are easy questions
I like the look of fairly stock wheels and tires with hubcaps. With my 1960 stepside I was thinking about black steel wheels resembling original with some dog dish type hubcaps. I like the white hubcaps painted to match the grill and front bumper. I understand the hubcaps I'm looking at might not be the absolute correct year but I do like the look. Or something similar is fine too. Aftermarket everything is fine. *Can anyone recommend where to get these from? Will all Wheels accept hubcaps or do I need to make sure I buy them from the same supplier? I would like a disc brake conversion in the future, will a 15 in wheel accommodate this or do I need to go up to a 17 inch wheel so I don't have to buy all new in the future? Thank you in advance. I'm adding a couple of photos of ideas of what I like. If anyone has a link for wheels and the hubcaps I would appreciate it. Just doing a general search comes back with some pretty confusing results. I read other threads here which answered some other questions I had. |
