1969 GMC 2500 "Longhorn" style Custom Camper

Bought this truck in 1997 from the original owner's estate. New GM crate 350 has about 3K miles on it. New Process 435 close ratio 4spd. New high quality clutch (12"). New brakes all around including cylinders. New front gas shocks last year. Ball joints both sides replaced (lower). P/S, P/B., Dealer A/C (missing parts), Factory Tach (currently disconnected after HEI conversion), three operational gas tanks. New trim pieces ready to be installed. Extra (excellent) Chevy tailgate. Dana 60 open rear with 3.73. Wood bed needs project (currently plywood bed).
This is my current work truck so it is kept operational with timely oil changes etc. It has been in a slight accident and has mismatched fenders and is missing one inner.
This is a work truck supreme. Left knee wants it sold.
I'll get some pictures up if anyone near L.A. is interested. -BA

I'm thinking $5500 or OBO

I would like to see pics. Sounds pretty similar to my truck!

Well, that's it in my profile picture with the original fenders. Light blue with white roof. Blue interior.

Not getting any hits here or on local Craigslist. Where is a good place to sell a truck these days?

This truck would have already been sold if you lived in the east coast.

Looks like the market is absolutely dead. I posted my 1972 triumph motorcycle on CL and got maybe 30 responses (sold it to the first guy). Not a single one on the truck after a month+. If I can't sell, I'll just put it away and get a "Planned non-op" registration.

Re: 1969 GMC 2500 "Longhorn" style Custom Camper

FB Marketplace has kill CL for most of us.

Loved my 72 Longhorn, 402, auto, air, 9.5mph, would not run on 87, would run with timing backed off on 89.

Re: 1969 GMC 2500 "Longhorn" style Custom Camper

Got ONE hit on CL. Somebody E-mailed me "Thing still available?" I responded "Still scamming?" and the guy replied and indirectly admitted he was a scammer and went away laughing. I don't know, this is a really good work truck and is worth 3X that much to me. Too much work to convert to Auto trans.
