Shorty Header or Manifold Recommendations

Looking for a decent set of shorty headers or "improved" manifolds for a 72 C20. I have a moderately built 350 with a 4 speed muncie. I have a cheaper set of Hedman long tube headers supposedly for the manual trans but fit is still extremely tight so I'm looking for something with a little more space for plugs/wires, clutch cross-shaft, etc.

I am considering Hedman street headers (maybe 69016) but it is unclear to me whether they fit the 4speed transmission crossmember between the engine and transmission. Product description says fits floor shift manual trans but then must be tailshaft style transmission crossmember so I'm assuming no?

Also considering Sanderson CC3 style headers. Or potentially 2.5" rams horn manifolds. Or the Hooker 2.5" exhaust manifolds (8525).

Any advice/insight would be appreciated.
