4x4 Power Steering

Can I use a 73-87 4x4 power steering gearbox on my 68 4x4. I know that they went to metric hose fittings some time in there, but what about the box. Is it bolt in????

Yes it is a direct bolt on. Pre 77 boxes use standard fittings. If you get a box made after 77 then make sure your get the pump too.

As long as its pre 77. After 77 is when they changed to the metric with o-rings.
