Re: You don’t see this every day.

With options like camper wiring, tach, and manual throttle I'm thinking it was special ordered for a customer. I did that back in the day when ordering a 70 Nova. Wish I still had that window sticker, not to mention the car!

Re: You don’t see this every day.

6 cylinder tach and a 292 with power steering, pretty cool and rare. Totally worth what they are asking, someone should go get it.

Re: You don’t see this every day.

The L56 RPO is an option that preps the engine for propane conversion, I had never heard of it until I did a search on this forum. Crazy combination of rare and odd options, it has to be a "one of one" model.

So you know that 292 is clean as a whistle on the inside. Why does this have to be exactly 1,967 miles from my driveway?!

That one is pretty bad ass. A super with the 9’ step side bed. Can’t be many of those made. Interesting that it has all those options but no AC. I see it was originally sold to a farm I guess that’s probably why. This truck screams Chevyland to me…

It’s a rare bird. I’m in talks with the owner. The only kink in the chain is distance.

Re: You don’t see this every day.

Does anyone know the standard rear end ratio of a 72 C30? I'm guessing 4.56, with 4.10 being an option. Nothing is listed on the SPID. This would be an epic Vice Grip style fly & drive, but shew it's a long way home.

Re: You don’t see this every day.

I have been thinking of a propane conversion to a 292 for years. This one had it from the Factory. I guess with a rig that long, you'd need P/S.
Glare obscures the VIN where the Plant is listed. Looks like J. Janesville's a long way from Montana. Most Western rigs are out of Fremont [Z].
I had a good roadtrip fantasy for a few minutes. I could almost afford it.
Could I get away?
Too bad there's no I-11 from Vegas to PHX yet...

Yep that is the truth! That’s a hell of price for a hell of a truck.

Re: You don’t see this every day.

That truck has got to be rare, you wonder how people sit down and think about options when ordering a vehicle. The PS I can see, but the tach, and I see it has Power Brakes also even thought there not listed on the sticker. I think that's a buy, just load her up and get it done. When I shipped my truck from CA to MI it was just under a grand 9 years ago, I'm sure prices have gone up a little since then.

He needed something that would get into a specific spot to retrieve a certain treasure....
Would the tach be for correct PTO speed using the dump bed?

Nice find for sure!! Hope you get it Mike80D.
