I'm not sure if they will work with your rams horn manifolds or not. The heat tube off the driver's side going to the air cleaner might also be an issue. Here is a picture of a Blazer engine that is in our shop. I can't seem to get the orientation of the picture correct...sorry.

.

If those mount like mine, you'll probably have to shim them up over your manifolds. I was thinking of a valve cover bolt that has a threaded shank coming out of the top of the head. You could torque the VC and then mount your loom with spacers on top of that....but I couldn't find any such thing Online. Don't know what that type of fastener is called though.

Slightly off topic, but do those Spark Plug Heat Shields really work? What's everyone's thoughts on them? My wires are dangerously close to the headers and I'm worried that they will burn.

I didn't go and look, but Buicks (among others) used a stud that threaded into the head to clamp the valve cover, and had a stem on top for the plug wire guides. Millions of Buicks, I know that they are reproduced.

Yes, they do work and work really well. My plug wires were a little close to the headers and a couple of them burned. I put those heat shields on and have had zero issues since.
