TCS Removal

I’ve read that removing the TCS will have no effect on the proper running on the engine. I plan on removing mine. I believe they (Based on what I read) that its using vacuum and voltage. Looking at mine, the hose looks like it’s not hooked to anything other than itself. Maybe mine was messed with by the PO.

I’m more specifically concerned about the black thing it’s mounted to. Do I remove that too, or just the cylinder and put the wiring to the side? I also read that there is a switched 12v wire going to it, so I’ll stick that to the side for a HEI upgrade later.
