Unusual Chevy Titan 90

The Chevy Titan 90 was a clone of the GMC Astro 95 cabover, sold at Chevy truck dealers. The Titan 90 was identical to the Astro 95 except for a few trim pieces. In the early 70's G.M. was experimenting with gas turbine truck engines, and these engines were tested in a number of Titan 90's and Astro 95's. When equipped with these experimental engines, the trucks had larger grilles that served as air intakes for the turbine. This oddball Titan 90 that's being parted out appears to have one of those special turbine grilles. I wonder what the story is:
