GM Key Blanks
My Dad’s 87 GMC had two sets of keys from the factory. My wife drove the truck yesterday and bent one ignition key, which was the main one Dad had been using all this time. It was thin. I want another ignition key that’s a GM blank. I see they’re readily available on eBay.
My question is does it matter which blank? The ones we have are silver. The keys we had for the 90 GMC we had were black. Can I buy a wrong blank?
