I made it home!!!

Hey all.
I flew in to Houston Friday, picked up the new truck and hit the road at noon. I took I-10 East till 10:30pm pulled into a rest stop just East of Pensicola and slept for 2 hours then got back on the road and drove till 5:30am then pulled over on I-75 just before the turnpike cutoff and slept for an hour then drove the rest of the way home and pulled in about 10:30am. On that last stop I forgot about the time change so when I woke up I looked at the cell and thought I had slept for 2 hours untill I looked at the clock on the radio and realised it was only an hour. Anyway no problems what so ever. It was a long ride but worth it, I really dig the truck and the wife even digs it, in fact I think she might even let ME drive it once in a while. I took some pics but does anyone know of somewhere that will host them?

Here are a couple of pics...it has airbag suspension so the first 2 are all the way down and the last one is all the way up. Also it is Pearl White with Blue flake and you can see the Blue coming out in the last pic.

I grabbed it off of Ebay. I paid $10K, still can't decide if it was a decent price or not? Its got the nice pearl white with blue flake paint, slightly built 350 with a 700R4, Boyd wheels sweet tires. A/C, tilt, alarm with keyless entry, stereo, air bags (front and back). Glass is all good with newer rubber. I mean over all it is very nice, not show quality but I didn't want that. This will be my daily driver. I know he has way over $10K into it but you never get back what you put in. Either way I really dig it and am happy overall which is what matters.

I guess its a rhino liner but it is thin in some spots so it needs to be redone.

Nice truck! I spent three weeks in Jupiter with the Cardinals...fun time. I never had a free minute to see the town but never saw any nice '67-'72's around Roger Dean Stadium. I hope to have better luck this year if I make it back there now that I know there is at least one nice truck in town! Be proud...nice ride!

If you make it back down you will have to say "hi". I was at Abacoa Saturday night with the truck having a beer over at Rooneys. I think every weekend they have a "classic" night and once a month they have a Bike night in Abacoa by the stadium.

The bags ride really well, I thought it would be rough but it is better then the lowered springs. The only thing is my front solenoid or something seems to be intermitten. I have to dig into it and see whats up.
