65 C10 Build Update
So, I've bought the truck in mid September. This is what I've done so far.
1. Cleaned and coated the frame (black) 2. Cleaned and painted the firewall 3. Ran all new SS brake lines and replaced master and drum hardware/wheel cylinders. 4. Bought a 78 power steering gear box off of FB marketplace for $150 5. New Steering column 6. Bought a power steering pump off a big block chevelle with pulley and brackets for $50 off FB Marketplace 7. Bought (today) the captain fab power steering box plate with tube. 8. Started re-wiring with the American Autowire 500560 kit. 9. Bought a new steering wheel 10. Bought a used fuel tank from a 64 and a new sending unit, fill neck, and chrome cap. Goal is to finish the inside & wiring, still need carpet only, and then I'll start building the engine. I'll post some pictures of my progress later on. |

Re: 65 C10 Build Update
Here is the steering wheel, chrome bezel, and gauge plate I bought. Gauges are white faced old school looking. Should be pretty slick. Let me know what you guy think.

Re: 65 C10 Build Update
Sounds like you've been busy the past few months. Look forward to some pictures and when you get that wheel and bezel mounted!
