Re: 1959 napco
Awesome, like you did, I started with a throw away and used 2 spools (2 lb) of mig wire welding panels. NAPCOs are cool.

Oh . . . my . . . . goodness. That was an absolutely pitiful starting point for a restoration. Mostly just iron oxide but you did very well with it.

Re: 1959 napco
Is there anything in the vin number that signifies it is a factory installed NAPCO? I think I read in 58 and 59 GM would build it for you for delivery but it could still be purchased from NAPCO afterward.
If nothing in the vin number and many NAPCOs were built after purchase, then that running gear could be put under any same tonnage 55-59 GM truck and be a NAPCO - in my opinion which is ok with me. To me it is still a NAPCO and not a tribute since it was mainly after market. The NAPCO parts may have cast dates that narrow the legitimate year for use -- maybe a year. dunno On my 1959 GMC 100 Fleet, I do not think anything in the vin designates it a factory Fleet truck however they were only made at GM or contractor. Finding a 58-59 GMC cab with a Chevy dash kinds of sorts them out. I have never seen a 58-59 GMC Fleet 100 or 150 NAPCO but I would think there could have been - either factory or afterwards.
