Hood hinge recommendations?
I need a few sets. Any recommendations for good quality aftermarket? Thanks in advance.

If you are trying to keep it stock looking then yes those are your 2 options. But if you aren't bothered by aftermarket parts then check out speedway motors steel billet hood hinges. They are about half the price of the aluminum aftermarket ones. They use all flat steel pieces to create the hinge with nice hardware. My buddy bought a set for his 67 c10 and they look nice and stout. Haven't put the hood on yet to check the gas strut ability. But will be installing the hood soon.

Looks like GMCPauls original style are $152/set, the speedway steel ones are $400/set, and the billet types are like $700 EACH… whew!
