Talking Let's see some Longhorn SPID pics please

Title says it all . Referencing a previous thread "Reproduction SPID ". Working on my 70 C 20 Longhorn, would like to see what others with these trucks have . Did the search thing but not finding a lot of specific information, have sent email to the member referenced in the previous posts about SPID, and recommended by another member to start new thread on this subject . Any and all input valued about Longhorn SPID or information about these specific trucks . Thanks to all , good luck on all your projects

Here is a SPID Thread:

https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/...d.php?t=282003

Just look for the 133" wheel base ones. Some might be Cab & Chassis trucks....

Looks like there are a couple in the first pictures.

Re: Let's see some Longhorn SPID pics please

Btw, the first SPID in post #11 is one of the "ones that got away." I may never forgive myself for not buying this beauty - 72 longhorn highlander big block custom camper tool stowage, the works. I'm embarrassed to say what I could have gotten this truck for at the time (ok.. $4500. Just shoot me). This was several years ago when I lived in AZ, but not THAT long ago. Didn't have the room at the time and had too many other projects.

Re: Let's see some Longhorn SPID pics please

Gotta laugh. I was behind a RAM truck today and it had "Longhorn" across the tailgate. Ya know the sheep have curly horns, right?

I had gone to look at a '68 C10 step side I saw on Craigslist. I was joking with my passenger who acted as a second set of eyes what it would look like if it had been acid dipped. He said nothing would come out of the bath. I was thinking Swiss cheese, but he's probably right. It was in terrible shape.
