1964 C10 Paint code?

Im trying to confirm what the original color of my 64 C10 was. When I look at the colors available for 64 it doesn't show #528 but it does show as available in 63 as 528 Desert Biege.

Can anyone confirm that color was available in 64?

Re: 1964 C10 Paint code?

528 was available in both years, but they were different colors.
1963 528 = desert beige (color on top, below)
1964 528 = fawn (a different shade of beige - color on bottom, below)
The two color chips are of course computer generated versions of the paint code, but it shows the general difference in shade for reference at least)

I think both of those colors look great on an old school pickup. Understated, but classy with the white trim. In fact, I tried to copy ithe lighter shade with a single stage enamel on my own truck. Came out close enough for me.

My '64 is Fawn (528). A quick Google search didn't bring up "fawn" and 528. I assume if I had the data book it might give this detail.

Great color, but AcampoDave and I might be biased!
