Unique item

A friend of mine just bought these blazer door, he call and asked if I could take a look at then.
After seeing them I told him I think there from a service blazer, they bout have caps on doors and they have the support brace behind the latch, so they are definitely blazer doors.and they look like they where sparingly used. Latches looked brand new, not a hint of rust, door handles look brand new, also no window regulators or a gear for the handles. Look to good to be true. I read in this forum of service vehicles had this set up . What do you think ?

Re: Unique item

Those are very unique. I believe since a top was optional this is how the doors looked if you didn't get a roof. I think a board member here had those for sale after he sold his blazer.

Re: Unique item

I don't remember seeing ones that delete the vent window and rest of the window frame.

Re: Unique item

Love all the input, thank you. I think I read somewhere that the wing window had to be removed to install those caps.

Re: Unique item

The upper trim looks like the stick-on trim from the square body trucks.

It's interesting they have the sport mirrors.

Re: Unique item

It's not stick on, I reached in and felt brackets where each screw is. i never thought about ordering a blazer without a top but makes sense. I think the (custom) badge is odd.

Re: Unique item

Interesting... two sets of doors. I got tired of taking of the hard top so I got a Softopper for mine. I can't imagine going to the work of switching out the doors a couple of times a year.

Re: Unique item

Those caps are original GM parts.

Couple of threads. If your buddy wants to sell the fiberglass top pieces let me know. I have one for one door but not the other.

Re: Unique item

I agree, not much to them.

But I think there's not too much demand for them (if any at all). I like finding weird, hard to find items so someone could at least sell one set!
