well, i saw this thread on the 73-87 board and i thought it was a great idea,

ill start. this weekend i recieved my 415 short block, and my fast burn aluminum heads and my xm278 cam, and my edelbrock pro flow injection. im still waiting on my hookers, they should be here sometime soon. i also started putting all my brake lines on and getting ready to bring the cab back into the garage to finish welding. thats about it, its butt cold here and hard to work when its that cold, but this weekend it is supposed to be like 50 so i will get alot done!!

Well I sold my motor and tranny, so I had to pull em out. Then I stripped the body parts off of a spare car, and put the passenger side back on our race car.

Absolutley nothing truck related

I'm about 500 miles overdue for an oil change, but it has been either too cold or too wet to do it.....

I built a workbench, and storage shelves across the back wall of my Garage. I'll post pics soon!! The workbench is 48" long, 24" deep, and 68" tall, with pegboard on the back. The shelves are spanning a 8 1/2' length and are broken into 2- 36" sections and 1- 27" wide section (for my toolbox). They are all 100" high and 24" deep with adjustable shelves. Finally I can organize the garage!!

Changed oil in the truck and my wife's car mid- week knowing that the weather was going to be bad all weekend. Spent all day Saturday at Mississippi Lions' All-State Band audition. My son made the band again. Second chair percussion. Yes, I'm proud of him.

Congrats George. My weekend was spent at work. Monday I went and towed a free 68 short step home. Hopefully the weather will let me strip it this weekend.

Not much on my truck, just fab'd an exhaust hanger bracket. I haven't been able to find any like mine in the junk yd.??? Plan to run dual ex. and want both sides symmetrical. They must have been limited to a small production. Wish I had a dig. cam. so I could post pics.

Nothing on the truck for me. I was tied up doing a bunch of yard work in preparation to getting the house painted. Now, as I'm sitting here typing this, I gotta get myself up and outside and continue with the yard work.

I spent mine helping a bud drag home his latest project, a Chevy 1-ton 4x4 frame/drivetrain & cab. We loaded it up on the trailer behind my Cherokee and started hauling it (with a couple of stops along the way to adjust the tongue weight) and all was going well until we hit a steep grade. The Jeep shifted down from 3rd to 1st (man, those 4.56 gears snatch hard!) and while it pulled on up the grade, it started whining shortly afterward. The whining turned into growling and we began to wonder if we'd make it back! By the time we got the truck unloaded, brought the trailer home & parked the Jeep it was growling very loudly and the diff was too hot to touch! Just what I need, another project to deal with!!!
