Wouldn't a bumper defeat the purpose of the rollpan?

I'm kinda fond of the stock look back there. wouldn't mind putting in LED tho. ( Pay no attention to the broken backup light. Its fixed now)

74 Pumpkin, I kinda am to, I think mine is supposed to have the more rectangular shaped ones, based on the mounting holes in the bed for the brackets. the ones in the fenders on the black one arent to bad, wonder what there from.

I have seen tail lights frenched into the base of the tailgate. looks real neat. that would certainly be a option for you. I would lose the chains.

what's wrong with lights in the rollpan? They aren't any harder to see than stock lights.
Here's mine, with lights in the pan (very large pic) http://www.crossfire.homeip.net/twinnie/trucklg13.jpg the side markers help a bit too, and reverse lights?? who needs them, I don't have them on my truck and also don't have them on my corvette. Back up lights are ugly Last edited by TwinTurbo; 01-21-2004 at 08:39 AM. |

74 Pumkin, thats what I read too, but to look @ the mounting bolt holes, youd swear its for the newer ones. Matbe the truck was made late 75 .
Im told its the original bed.

i like them in the fenders, but i think all the ones pictured are too big, the LEDs in the end of the bed isnt bad.. but the other ones are rather large.
take the lights out of the bumper on the orange truck with the mural and put them in the fenders.. smaller and cleaner look.. even better if they are LEDs..
