Beau James Parts?
Hi everyone! It's nice to see such a great community for 73-87 enthusiasts!
I just recently aquired a 1975 Beau James edition GMC and have started to restore it. Luckily, the hood ornimant and hub caps are in good condition. I just located a set of stickers for the bed, so that's taken care of. Came outta the paint booth last week so time to start on the interior... I'm having a big problem finding floor mats and some of the interior accessories. (Just PM'd ElGracho about buying the floormats off of him hehe) I'm trying to find the floormats, and the wood trim for the doors and dash bezel. Does anyone have any clue of where I can obtain these? After making phone calls all last week and this week, it seems I may be totally out of luck. Scott |

It will be near impossible to locate those items, simply because of the rarity of the truck.
But, not totally impossible, here are a few suggestions... You can always bug Joe and see if he will give you any leads. You can also pick up a Hemmings Motor News at your local news stand, I see some pretty rare stuff in there from time to time. Another option is to find other BJ owners or sellers, and see if they have any leads or contacts. E-bay is also a good spot, but I personally have seen very little on there as far as BJ parts go. Good luck on your quest, keep us posted. Welcome to the board!

I pm'ed you back on the floor mats, but as far as the woodgrain stuff goes, that's easier. Not easy, just easier. 75 and 76 Sierra Classic and Silverado trucks will all have the same woodgrain. Post on the parts board, look in the wrecking yards and look on Ebay and you should be able to find some nice pieces. I have some NOS pieces for my Gentleman Jim and I didn't even pay that much for them (cheaper than the new stuff for my 86...)
Anyhow, the stuff is out there...

I have a wood-grain dash bezel. I'm not sure what year it's from, but I know it has the wiper switch on the dash. Best I remember it's in good shape. If you're interested post or PM me your e-mail and I'll try to get a picture or two.
