I saw one here in San Antonio where they just bent a kink into the leaf springs right before the rear shackle. It lowered it, and the truck looked good, but I would hate to actually have to drive it.

i'd say his drop is nowhere near what he thinks it is. here's a pic of mine with 235 75 15s on it that measured just under 28.25" and a 2.5/4 drop.

I think he's guessing what he's got. No way for him to know for sure what it is, unless he measured it before and after. I say it's more like a 2/4 drop myself, if that much.
No way a shackle and removing a leaf will lower it 4" anyway.
