New Seats?
Has anyone put seats from a newer model GM truck in their Blazer? How did you adapt the seat brackets? Any pics?
Thanks James |

Yeah will be doing this in a couple of weeks. Still trying to get settled in. I have 99 grand cherokee seats in there now an made my own brackets. This time I might just drill new holes in the floor and mount using some 1/4 iron for extra strength. I haven't look at it reall close yet.

What kind of seats are you going to use? Where are you getting them? I found this place in Iowa online that sells newer GM Leather seats. I haven't checked on prices yet but they look pretty sweet.

jamesjones if you are talking about the shop in cedar falls i think they are really expensive it is cheaper to buy on ebay. Just be patient.
I am using seats out a 2002 tahoe and silverado. the front seats are out of a pick up adn the rear seat is out of a tahoe. I will see if I can post some pics this weekend. |

Yeah, probably a good idea. Thanks for all the help and info. Man I have to stop coming on this board. Every time I do you people give me a cool new idea that I want to try. I was planning on just restoring my Blazer and adding a lift kit. Now I'm mulling a 67 front clip swap, 700R4 swap, 14Bolt rear end swap, A/C dash swap, and new style seats. This place is going to brake me. :p In all seriousness though thanks for the info.
Thanks James P.S. 1970Blazin let me know when your husband finishes those rollbars. I never noticed but looking at my Blazer yesterday I noticed that I'm missing the bars that slant down to the rear. I might as well replace the whole thing. |
