what kind is it?
my son has a 1985 c-10 with a v-6, what kind of tranny is in it? automatic no overdrive. would like to drop in a 350SB. will it bolt up?

most likely it is a 350c. The 350 you have should bolt right up.

probably a TH350C, if its stock, but i have seen a few with a TH400 behind them.

Could be a TH400. That's what was in mine behind the 4.3. Does it have the towing package?
