Sweat Change Question
I was wondering what seat you folks are using other than the stock bench setup. I used a split bench from a 94 in my 70, but the cab hump for the gas tank(s) don't seem to make it as simple a swap. We are looking to find some sort of bucket or split bench set setup to put into my daughter's 82 C10. With her being vertically challenged, we definitely need buckest or splt bench. Poor dad is eating his knees everytime she drives.
Just wondering what you folks used and how you hooked them up. It'll give me a bit of a focus as I start lookin in the yards for replacements. Oh yeah...pics are always nice too. Thanks.

Almost any seat that is the right width can be made to fit. there are tones of people here who have made brackets to get them mounted properly. Also if you got 700+ dollars to spare you can pick up some really nice custom made seats that will fit in there perfectly.

zz I have the same seat in my 78. I made new brackets to adjust for the height. the seat is also shorter in width. my seat came out of a 90 chev full size truck. It has a fold down arm rest in the center. There is nothing more uncomfortable then them old stock bench seats. buckets are a nice option.

Kind of looks like some fab work coming no matter which way I go! Definbitely need something where the driver can adjust seperately from the passenger side (short, very short, driver) long passenger).
Glad to see that the 88 up style will go in without too much trouble. Now all I have to do is find something....and work on my spelling....Sheeesh...Thanks for all my SWEAT help!!
