Post Brake Lights '68 Chevy c10

Signal Lights work in rear but no tail lights or stop lights. How can I rewire from cab to taillight assembly or to harness y under chassis? Also need wiring diagram

You won't be able to do it like that. I don't quite know how it is done, but the brake light signal splits to 2 wires inside your steering column. One wire for the left, and one for the right. If you were to just run a wire to your tail lights, it would not let the turn signals work.
only way to do a quick fix (instead of findng the actial problem) would be to add a set of trailer lights or something and wireing them up directly to the brake light switch.

yellow is one side and light green is the other side, at column and at tail of truck and through firewall down by intake of engine near dizzy. probably is loose connection at taillamp assemblies or bad grounds back there, time to do housekeeping under tail of bed, resplice old splices, sand grounds where wires ground, WD40 on plugs, etc etc

hey showboat, I had a similiar problem with my 68 tail lights. My turn signals and brake lights wouldn;t work but tail lights would. Cmoe to find out that one of my light bulb connector for my turn signl was missing and that is what was causing my lights not to work. There is a circuit board on dash panel and if the connector is gone the circuit is broken. This may not be the problem, but might be worth looking into before rewiring.
