?'s of members engine 4 sale

Im posting this because I just want to cover all bases possible, and hopefully I dont step on anyone toes or get anyone pissed at me. I am seriously thinking of buying a the 383 Strocker from Smokin72on20s. This engine seems to be a awesome deal, but I think everyone knows the old saying! I have researcher the seller as much as I can using his past posts, and he seems to be honest, but I need your help.

Is there anybody out there that has dealt with Kent before good or bad. I have been burned before with purchases done on the forums and Ebay, and this one is a little large to swallow if anything happens.

Does anybody know anything about this engine or its previous owner/builder?

Also I am kind of curious of why this engine has not already sold. In my opinion it is a great deal, even with the exchange rate.

Thanks in advance,
Darren

why hasnt it been sold? nobody has the money!
i agree that engine could not be built for that amount of money, and that it is a good deal, but with the economy adn all not very many people have the extra cash to lay down for an engine that they do not know that much about. plus the fact that there is NO warranty. if the engine fails and blows up, your out all that money.
just my opinion
ive never heard anything bad about smokin72on20s.
seems to be a pretty good guy.

Thats the chance that I have to take, I have talked to many people about it and they have made a few suggestions before I start this thing. The parts alone on the upper half of the engine are worth much more then the asking price.
