gauge question

Does anyone know what would determine if a truck got an 80# or 60# oil pressure gauge? Are the 80# worth any more? Seems like most are 60#.

I checked through some of my gauges and don't see any rhyme or reason. Some of my big truck clusters have 60# some of my pickup ones have 80#. Even the ones that have vac/air pressure next to them are 60#
Maybe big block or small block???

I had both, but put in the 80#; easier for me to look down at 1 or 2 lines on the gauge and know it's reading 20 or 40#, instead of 15 or 30# that the 60# gauge would read. No rhyme or reason either on my end....

Ive seen 80#. I think its something to do with the big/small block. even the big trucks bigger than a 1 ton came with a small block.
