1969 C10 Short Fleet w/32,500 miles

I am willing to sell this unrestored 1969 Chevrolet C10 Short Fleet. It is an undocumented 32,500 mile truck that has been in Texas its whole life. I purchased it from a family that owned it since new. The original owner died in 1992 and left it to his brother who stored it in his barn till 1999 at which time he gave it to his son. His son brought the truck home to Lubbock, Texas and put it in his storage till I purchased it in Decmeber of 2003. The only things wrong with the truck are a dent in the grill, radio does not work, cracks in the steering wheel and the seat cover is dry rotted so it is cracking real bad where the driver sits. I just had it weighed at 3450 and did all the registration paperwrok so you can drive it home. The tires should be replaced as they appear to be the original bias ply and have some cracking in the sidewalls. I will consider selling it for any offer around $9,000.00.

Can you provide more info. What is the engine & transmission combination. Is the truck located & registred in CA now?

The engine is a straight 6 that purrs like a kitten and it is backed by a Powerglide. Not the most desireable combination but it doesnt burn or drip anything. It has drum brakes all the way around that stop straight and confident, there is no power steering or brakes. It is completely original right doen to the spiral shocks and bias ply tires. The exhaust was replaced some time ago and could use a few hangers as it looks like a backyard job.

The truck got here to California last weekend. I did the Unlaiden Weight, DMB VIN Verification and Registration this last week. It is located at my place in Vista, California just north of San Diego.
