I need help with c10 emblems.

I was trying to take the c10 emblems off the fender of my 68 fleet side and I broke the 1 off the ten. Does anyone know where you can find the ones that just pop in and are not bolted on( or do they even make that kind)? And is there an easy way to get to those nerve racking, good for nothing, little bitty, pain in the butt nuts off the back of the emblems. As you can see I had a hard time just trying to remove two nuts.

Most parts stores carry a gismo that pushs in the holes for the emblem pins and locks in. The emblems pins then push into these and lockks . Can be removed easy when you want to take the emblem off by just pulling on it. Have them on my Cheyenne 10 ones. Can't remember the name of them-maybe nut serts, capture locks. Just take a emblem with you to show what you need.

Or you could use adhesive to reinstall it. 3M makes some good stuff.

The item you are looking for is called "barrel nuts" They go in the existing holes in the fender then push the emblem on. Should be available at most parts stores or body shops.
