tell me what ya'll think...
i have a 69 lwb that is in the process of being completed, just need to paint it...am planning on doing a 2 tone, blue and white i guess....except thats the problem...there are a few blue and white ones running around here and i want something a bit different...im using the 1970 med blue and the other color will be inbetween the upper and lower trim and on the top of the cab....what other color besides white would work and not look hokey?...i thought of maybe an off white or maybe that champagne color everyone has been using nowadays....anybody got any ideas?

If you want blue and white, go blue and white. Who cares if there are some like it? It's actually my favorite scheme on 71/72s. I'm doin a '69 right now and thought of a white/color/white/color but decided not to do it because imo 69/70s don't look as good with the white on the side. Bottom line, do what you REALLY want. Don't settle, cause painting is a lot of work and expensive!

I have also seen a silver & blue one in Sherman a few weeks ago while I was on lunch. I'd go two tone blue I have only seen one truck in person that was painted factory that way and the guy had it redone in red go figure

One more thing to consider... A few years back I had a 72 lwb highlander (mariner blue/white top). When I painted it I put the white on the side, too. It looked good, but all of those horizontal breaks in the color make a longbed look really long. When I paint my current work truck (lwb), I'm just going to put white on the top. Just my .02

color choice
I think the silver would look killer. I would just make sure that the silver is light enough to be a good contrast or it might just run together.
