Suspension parts paint
What would you guy's recommend I use to paint my suspension parts on my disk brake setup? I plan on painting the tie rods, spindles, and linkage parts.
I want them black, but want it to last. I have already sandblasted them and will be ready to paint soon. Thanks!! Dan

Eastwoods chassis black. Tough as nails when fully cured, and no isocinates like Por-15. Epoxy hardened too.

If cost is an issue (like it is for me), GM reconditioning paint. $35 per gallon at your dealer (they may have it in spray bomb too) No mixing, shoot on bare metal. Nice satin finish.

I would epoxy prime it if you want it to last. Then top coat it with any auto paint that's not a spray bomb.

Find someone who is a vendor of POR and become his friend. You'd be amazed at the mark up on that stuff.

You don't need POR-15,POR-15 is for anti-rust applications like body panels.Unless your building a show truck, use Home Depot
paint or "Eastwood's" frame or chassis paint. |
