NEED HELP: How to change ignition lock cylinder

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to change the ignition lock cylinder on the steering column of a 77 chevy pickup.
I have removed the steering wheel, took out the turn signal mechanism, but have not a clue as to where to go from here. All help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Kevin

Do not see any pins

I looked very carefully, and I don't see the pins you are talking about. I even took the four bolts out of the upper column and slid it back, and I still can't figure out how to remove the lock cylinder.

thanks,

kevin

Some Chevy's have a vertical slot (sometimes covered with casting flash) in the upper right quadrant under the switch
where you insert a screwdriver to push a hidden latch.

Follow the above tutorial, very very useful!

If you still can't figure it out, give me a PM and I can help you out.
