Opinions on Kanter suspension kits?
Since the wife's truck is all apart anyways I figure I might as well rebuild the front end.
Anybody bought one of the front suspension kits from kanter for a 72 1/2 ton? Are the kits good quality? Ron

Good quality--high prices. Wherever you buy the stuff, it'll likely be Moog brand, which your local Auto Zone, Hagan, Pep Boys, etc. will have. Kanter doesn't actually make the kits.

I have had a bad dealing with Kanter. Bought a front end kit for my grandmothers 66' Pontiac Catalina. Car was bought new, garage kept with only 21K miles on it but all the rubber was shot in the bushings. Ordered the kit, sent me incorrect tie rod ends, sway bar bushings and LCA bushings. When I called to tell them, they told me that "I was wrong & they had sent me the right stuff, someone must have changed it..."
WELL WHY WAS THE PACKAGING LABELED "PACKARD"?????

I used Kanter for stuff for my Dodge years ago, had no complaints. I've since used Performance Suspension Components in Phoenix for my Studebaker, 71 Longhorn, 86 Monte SS and Chevelle and been VERY pleased.

Wow ECE wants $550 for a rebuild kit where Kanter wants $180, of course it doesn't have the tie rod adjusting sleeves, upper and lower control arm shaft kits (just the bushings), idler arm and pitman arm. I couldn't find prices for those on the Kanter website.
