I'm hunting a 307 crank. Anybody have one in good shape that are willing to part with?

i have a good one. Crank is free. $50 to take it out & box it plus shipping. You can probably find one cheaper & closer....Zoomy

You building a large journal 327?

No sir. I am gonna build a true hybrid. Its a 400 block with a 307/327 crank. The displacement comes out to 352 if memory is right. I also race dirt tracks. With this type of motor I should be able to gear it real high (or real low I guess you would say) and turn the rpms. I have run a 377 ( 350 crank in a 400) in the past and liked it alot. These type of motors are soft on low end torque. It makes it easier to NOT blow the tires coming off the corners.

Thats cool Some local engine builders talked about building some destroked motors like that for dirtrackers.

I have one in south Texas. Just sitting in my storeroom. If you come and get it its free. I also have good pistons and conecting rods. I'll let you have to. All from a balanced and blueprinted 307.

Donie is about 70 miles west of Waco if you come down 35, or its right at 120 if you come down 45. Its near mile marker 190 on I-45
