lowering question

I want to lower my 1/2 ton '72 Suburban 2" in the front and 4" in the rear. In the front, I'd rather use 2" drop springs and stock spindles rather than 2.5" dropped spindles and stock springs due to the cost. I'd like to hear from guys that have done it either way and your opinions on it. Thanks.

2" springs should be no problem.I have 2.5"drop spindles and 2" springs.Rides fine and I can still go over speed bumps.I ran my exhaust on the outside of the frame.I also have 6" drop in the rear.
