no smoking deal

This obviously is no smoking deal but I don't think seller is saying that. Seems like a fair description to start with and as always on ebay questions need to be asked/answered. They do make repro. parts for some of this but no bedfloors yet. I don't see these new parts available for $1000, maybe closer to 1500-1800 depending on wood bedfloor kit.

Good solid shortbed boxes are in high demand. Most of us can't and don't want to pay high prices but make sure to figure out your time and gas huntng one down. Sometimes I catch myself spending 3 hrs and $12 in gas to find a used $5 part. If that bedfloor is real straight and bed is close to buyer then this could be good grab.

I can't say whether this is a good or bad deal in sellers area that also factors in.

I can see gasping at a $300 air cleaner but not a $1000 swb bed.

I hope we don't always see our time best spent bashing others or even getting too critical. We are in America land of the free, dream those dreams.

Maybe poster didn't mean this but often these posts develop into this.

I enjoy more posts making others aware of whats for sale or for exchanging info. and even the pictures of the ridiculous.

I have talked with a couple of vendors recently who constantly get beatup over prices ( usually a couple of bucks). If we don't like what we see we can shop elsewhere, they will get the message if it affects their business.

This of couse is my opinion and maybe distracts from posters intention of the post. My appologies in advance to all those who take offence.

my opinion

in that condition i can see myself gasp!! don't forget the countless hours required to bring these "hard to find" items to "mint condition"- in my opinion the parts search is half the fun and i believe anyone could do much better than this.
