Crank pulley question ????? HELP

I have a 69 air cab with 350. Pulleys are not aligning with w hat I believe to be oem pulleys. Questions.........is the crank pully 2 or 3 grove on an air truck? Mine has 3 but maybe I only need the 2 grove........I am trying to take it back to original after years of rigging.

It' fairly common to see a 2 piece lower pulley set in 69. So a total of three grooves.... .. the single pulley is for he PS and the double is for ac and water pump+ alt . You need a double groove water pump also.

I had a similar problem and have a question about the pulleys in the picture. The one on the left looks like the long water pump crank pulley I took off of my 307 when I switched from the long pump to the short pump. Doesn't the water pump make a difference?

From what I learned on mine it does make a difference, but I wanted clarification cuz I ended up with chrome aftermarket pulleys.

I believe (and I might be wrong) the long water pump didn't come out until later in the '70s. You should have a short water pump on that 350 if you're going to stock, which means you may have to check those OEM pulleys to make sure they're correct.

Thanks guys. Hawaiian-J actually came by with pulleys and we think it's in the W/P pulley that is wrong. All others (crank, alt, P/S we believe will work.....so I'm off to get with a guy that had my old w/p pulley which is two groove and not the 3 grove like I have.........thanks to you all and a big thanks for Jason coming out in the cold to work through it............pretty cool temps for a Hawaiian. OH....I did not bid on any pulleys on ebay.........but maybe someone will feel sorry for me and ship to me.
Thanks again.

This auction on ebay is over but never sold...$15 for a set of ps crank and wp pulleys... good deal as far I'm concerned... not positive about the crank pulley on this one... would need a number on it to verify. Maybe contact him.

It helps to be a little hot blooded... I'm glad I could help!

That's like the one he has, plus the add on for air.

Thanks!

Is that correct? My truck has the single pulley turning water pump and alt.

The bigger daul groove piece turns the power steering.

Everything works, except that my little stamped steel one for wtr/alt is bent.

Now I deal w/ my friends offering me these 3 groove stamped ones that will not work for mine.

Not sure if i should look out for another one like I have or attempt to "upgrade" to a more common setup.
