Bucket Seat Ideas?

Anybody recommend vehicles to get Bucket Seats out of? I have a '69 bench seat w/hump. What all do I need to get from the new set and what all do I need to do to install.

Thanks,

Bryan

I just found these up yesterday...

Local salvage yard had a trailer full of seats.
Found a set from a 2004 Impala brand new in the factory wrapper.
Electric driver seat.
35 bucks.

I'll post pics after I install them.

You got an awesome deal valk!! I went with a set of 69 Corvette seats and had them completely rebuilt and recovered in saddle colored leather. I really like them. They are more comfortable than anything I have in my house..lol.. I also like the fact that the seatbacks are thin. The tank was removed from behind the seat, now there is plenty of room. I made a rack to mount them to out of 1" square tubing and bolted it to the original mounting holes and mounted the Vette tracks to the rack. They really fit the era look of the truck too. I see them for sale on ebay all the time. That's where I got mine.

Here's the interior of my truck. I made the console myself. The seats came out of a 2002 up isuzu rodeo.

Yup,

G&R puts those seats right out by the road like a lure. They hook me every time and just reeeeel me in

Those Isuzu seats look great.

If I was going to put in late model buckets, I would look at a Chrysler Town & Country minivan. Don't laugh! A buddy of mine had one a couple of years ago and I was amazed at how comfy they were.

I PUT A SET OF BUCKETS OUT OF A LATE 70s JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LTE IN MY 69 TOW TRUCK. THEY ARE WITHOUT A DOUBT, THE MOST COMFORTABLE SEATS I'VE EVER SAT IN. THEY BOLTED RIGHT UP TO TRUCK BUCKET SEAT BRACKETS. I BROKE MY BACK ABOUT 26 YEARS AGO, & SPENDING ANY TIME AT ALL SITTING IN A BENCH SEAT IS PUNISHMENT THAT I DON'T CARE TO ENDURE. JOHN

I don't know about your guys' installations... which look really nice btw... but, my friend and I installed a bench seat from a '98 burb in his '68. The only thing we had to do was weld a small bracket for the middle part of the bench to match height with the tranny hump. It was a 60/40 split 60 being on the driver side.
