liftgate holder-openers.....?
does anyone know a way to replace the stock ones with the type that are on newer vehicles? What I mean is something like what is on my jeep cherokee hatch, so I don't have to lift the heavy gate open. Any Ideas?:p

Great question, I'm trying to figure out the same thing for my barn doors. I have seen those gas charged things put to many different uses, I guess it just takes the right length and resistence(sp) to make it work right. Any info on the subject would be helpful, sure would clean up the look and seemingly work really nice!
