none of that drivetrain is original (maybe the C6...dunno), but it does sound like a potent combo. maybe 3-4k?

Never been over to a #ord site before, do they speak English over there? Hehe.

Mac, If the body is as clean as you say, and it is an original 4X4 frame, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't make something off it. I couldn't tell you how much because I don't follow that market.

$1500 sounds like a good deal on that truck. Fords of that era look sweet IMO. I wouldn't mind restoring one one day.

Ford knows there is a problem. They even put a circle around it.

Now I will agree with you on the idiot part. Like they say......your junk my treasure. I bought an old Ford Bronco a few years ago and put new belts on it and tuned it. Put it out front sale and cought hell from bowtie buddies but..........guess......what..........here came an idiot .......made $500 bucks profit in just 2 weeks...........Martha Stewart can't do that well on stocks. I've even had people come look at stuff I've had for sale and say I'll take it.........only for me to say not til you drive it and let me tell you all I know on it...........I hate to see people not think through what they are doing.

I love my fords. I like something i can drive without constant tinkering. On the other hand Chevies look awesome. Thats why i can wait to get a 383 windsor built fot my 63 c-10. It might just become the perfect truck.

i couldnbt tell ya ,, hellifiknow , i am looking at one thing and one thing only , "PROFIT , PROFIT , PROFIT" , i am and will always be chevrolet through and through till the day i die, but there are also people out there that feel the exact same way about a ford, so i see a nice looking truck for a pretty sweet price , when there is going to be someone out there who sees theyre dream truck for a price that doesnt really matter ,,, those are the ones im on the look out for , and yes i have a knack for finding them

Much like I am with that 2 door 57 you have. I will somehow find a way to get that someday. I even have a pic of it on my screen saver to remind me why I wake up everyday, Hehe.
