I thought you guys might like to see these under hood pictures of one of my local customer's truck that has been shown around here locally. I was questioning installing chrome inner fenders in my panel because I thought they might be too much chrome , but wow

These look great!! This truck also has our pollished stainless steel, duel electric fan assemblies cooling the BB 402 nested under the hood. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

That does look pretty sweet. If my truck ever gets a frame-off, i may go with the chrome fenders...but i would be worried about taking care of them if it were driven alot.

I asked him about maintaining them and he said that it isn't any worce than maintaining painted inner fenders. I guess that it just depends on how clean that you like to keep the under side of your hood. I know chrome cleans easier than the semi gloss paint that is stock. My worry has always been rocks flying up into them from the under side, but if you under coat, or line-x them that shouldn't be a problem. I am definitly considering them for my Panel. He purchased that stainless steel radiator cover from us. We have them for $29.95. I am out of stock, but can order some in. I think that I can also have some made up out of aluminum for the same price though. I will have to contact my supplier on that. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Hey Wes, the brake lines are in. Thanks for the quick turn around on the order. Now I can drive it to Puyallup on Sunday (and be able to stop when I get there). I wish my engine compartment looked that nice. I had my inner fenders powder coated in gloss black, shows all the dust.
