Talking Finally got one!

Well I finally found one! I am so happy, my brother-in-law and I left Friday night for N.Carolina, and we returned last night with MY 1970 LWB 4X4!!!

I am real excited about it. I am the 4th owner and she has 81k miles on her. The body, drivetrain, and paint is all original. The body is very solid other than a bad rocker on the passenger side. Has the original wood bed and is in decent shape due to the fact they had a cap on her. Body is showing typical wear, like dings and scratches but no cancer rust! I will try and attach some pics for you guys.

There may be an option sheet on the inside of glove box door.

Thanks for all the compliments. I will try to get some more pics soon, my camera is MIA right now.

Well as far as the price, I was able to get the truck for 4500.00, a little more than I wanted to spend but I thought it was worth it for a original truck that wasn't chopped up yet. But who knows maybe I was out of my mind....and just wanted a truck now!!!

Now I have to figure out what to do first!

Well thanks again...I am real proud of her. My mind is racing with ideas and things to start, but the check book is arguing with me. Any ideas where I should start? I am thinking oil change asap, and good detailing also. Where would you guys start?

Maybe I should mention, I am planning on lifting her maybe 4" and putting 35's on her. Other than that maybe a smaller steering wheel but I don't know.

Any advise would be great thanks!
