1977 Factory Tach Needs Repair - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have a 1977 "Factory GM Tach" in need of repair. When I start the truck up, the tach is way to high. When I cruise down the highway, she is straight up and down. When I switch tanks, it bounces a little. Can anybody tell me a repitable place to have it repaired?

www.yearone.com in tucker has a company they use to get tachs repaired. It's about $100. They can also get factory clocks repaired.

I'll give them a yell tomorrow. I also have the tic toc tac out of my Camaro, the clock is way fast.

I haven't personally but a friend in phoenix did last month and he seems pleased as pie with end results...he goes by mosesburb over at coloradok5.com.
