FS 68 4x4 Short Step
In the continueing process of change of priorities for me, I am offering up my 68. I have replaced it with a '04 Duramax CrewCab. Definitely not as cool but I can get the whole family into it. I also bought an Alpenlite truck camper for it so we will be spending a bunch of time camping! Anyway, here are the specs on the 68:
Original 68 Short Step 4x4 Not original: '72 3/4 ton axles, Dana 60 rear and Dana 44 with discs front; just replaced the rotors with new; 4:10 gears 427 Big Block Chevy; 049 heads with upgraded 2:19 intake valves; hypereutectic pistons; about 9:1 static compression; Holley; Performer RPM intake. This motor has about 10k on it now and is just getting broken in. Bowtie Overdrives Level 3 HP 700R4 transmission http://www.bowtieoverdrives.com/cata...m.php?ITEMID=9 I have run this trans for over a year with zero problems. It is a great transmission. NP205 transfer case, freshly resealed 4" Skyjacker Softride Lift with Nitro shocks, Stainless Braided brake hoses, 33" BFG All Terrains AGR variable ratio power steering Interior has newly recovered factory 68 bucket seat setup; Van tilt; full guages with factory tach.; CD player with Boston Acoustics in the doors Box has a spray in liner; factory slide rear window Anymore questions, please ask! In the interest of a fast sale, I will let this go for $8,750.00. If no interest here then it will be going to E-Bay. Go here for pictures: http://home.comcast.net/~67ratman/ws...ue-skip-0.html

That is one sweet truck. I would buy it in a heartbeat if I didn't have my project and had more space.

breeh,
Sorry to "hijack" your thread. But. Tell me how you like that AGR variable ratio power steering? Is it a good upgrade? Why? Thanks a bunch! Oh. Guys. I had the opportunity to see this truck last year at the Monroe swap meet. It is a beautiful thing!! Well worth what he is asking. And more. Darren
